SETS, FUNCTION AND RELATION

SETS: A set is defined to be a collection of well-defined distinct object .Each object is called an elements of the set .sets denoted by capital letter and elements denoted by small letter.

Example : A= {a,e,i,o,u}

Relation and function : Any subset of the product set XY is said to a define relation form X to Y in which no two different ordered pairs have the same first element is called function.
